Circulo de Palabra • Mambe & Ambil
The Circulo de Palabra, or “Word Circle,” is a traditional space of prayer, reflection, listening, and shared presence practiced among many Indigenous cultures of the Amazon. Gathered in community with mambe and ambil, participants are invited to slow down, speak from the heart, listen deeply, and reconnect with themselves, one another, and the spirit of the living world.
Mambe, a sacred preparation of coca leaf, is traditionally used to cultivate clarity, focus, groundedness, and connection. Ambil, a concentrated tobacco medicine, is regarded as a medicine of truth, prayer, protection, and intentional speech. Together, these sacred allies support presence, contemplation, meaningful dialogue, and a deeper connection to spirit and community.
